Description
Punta y Tacón by Sabicas is probably the most often played farruca of all times. Compared to other pieces from great flamenco maestros this piece is probably the least difficult to play. Apart from the speed of his picados, musically speaking, the most challenging parts are the way Sabicas performs the compás and his tremolos. Both of these have been analyzed into depth in this transcription revealing some of the secrets of Sabicas playing.
